Community Transport aims to meet the needs that public transport leaves unmet, to tackle loneliness and social isolation and to ensure the whole community feels included and socially active.
With no statutory funding available, CTLA Community Transport is only able to offer its vital front line charitable services with support from the public, grants and trusts, fundraising events and local authorities.
By bidding for contracts, CTLA is able to make a limited earned income and the operational surplus is put straight back into the charity to support unfunded services and accessible transport opportunities. As a ‘not-for-profit’ business limited by guarantee and a registered charity, CTLA would not survive without its ‘Charity Champions’.
